RASTEC is certified in ACCA Manual J, S, and D for residential systems and Manual N for commercial occupancies. Calculations are produced using Wrightsoft and EnergyGauge USA, the tools accepted by Florida's Energy Code compliance reviewers.

Manual J — Residential Load Calculation

Defines procedures for calculating heating and cooling loads in residential buildings based on building geometry, insulation, window properties, orientation, internal gains, and local climate data.

Manual S — Equipment Selection

Provides guidance for selecting HVAC equipment based on Manual J results. Matches equipment capacity and performance to actual load conditions and part-load efficiency requirements.

Manual D — Duct System Design

Covers duct layout and sizing to deliver required airflow with acceptable friction losses and air velocities. Addresses trunk-and-branch and radial systems, fitting losses, and material specifications.
